works fine, there is a small learning curve in getting your device's BT and the app all working together but once they're paired and you know the routine, it works. adjusts the bass katana settings, very granular control of parameters you cannot access with the control panel on the amp. you could spend hours twiddling if you find that fun, but you don't need to. the default settings for most effects work fine. this also links to the tone studio where one can import/export public sets.

I spent 50 dollars on a terrible adapter only for it to have an app that doesn't work. It literally will not connect because it says the app is an old version, when it's perfectly up to date as far as play store is concerned. Also, the "user manual" the device comes with DOES NOT TELL YOU WHICH APP TO GET. talking with boss/Roland is impossible. They say you can call but the phone line doesn't exist and/or only tells you to go online. And this accessory is entirety unsupported.

App launched but but once it got to connecting it didn't work, two separate items showed up in my Bluetooth options for the connection, but the app wouldn't read them, I even tried connecting my phone and I was able to play music but the app still wouldn't work.
